200 Club – Raising Funds for the Village Hall

Watlington 200 Club is a major source of fund raising for the Village Hall and it relies upon the continued support of its members. Vicky Ling is the 200 Club Co-ordinator and together with Gill Stone and Penny Cooke,  they collect up to £2,400 per year towards the Village Hall funds.

How The Club Works
As you would expect there are 200 numbers, and when you join the club you are allocated a number and pay £1 per month into the club. Every third Wednesday in the month, a draw takes place in the Village Hall at 8.00pm and cash prizes are awarded to the first 5 numbers drawn from the bag. Winning prize money is £40, £15, £10, and 2 prizes of £5. Three times a year the £40 first prize is upped to £100. These special draws take place in April, August and December.

There is a one off 10p joining fee and you can pay how it suits you; monthly, 6 monthly or yearly, and by cash or cheque (made payable to Watlington Village Hall). You can now also pay by BACs

The latest winners list is available on request from  the Village Hall.
